where are you getting that they rake in a billion a year? I am curious because there are less than 10,000,000 BORG and each one of them would have to pitch in over a $100.00 more than costs for there to be anything like that in profits...so where is this money coming from?

even though for years as a child i was taught the jw doctrine and it seemed to make sense biblically, at least back then.
but yet i had a strong sense of doubt, but it was nothing specific i could point the finger to, just a gut feeling that there was something wrong with the jw religion.. now here's my main point.

now, nobody here seems to have any idea what this is all about.

Why the Mainstream Media's reluctance to publish WTS vs Quotes battle?
by EscapedLifer1 inwe were unable to generate any interest the first go-around with the wts threatening quotes, and now it seems the mainstream media is for the most part ignoring us again.. i have also sent out numerous releases and letters to local media outlets (newspaper, tv, etc.
) prior to a number of district conventions, and never got any kind of response nor did i ever see anything anything printed or broadcast except the "fluff" pieces they do about the convention, baptism, drama, blah, blah.
after reading several local articles, from several different cities, reciting how much $$$$ the conventions bring to each city, i have a feeling that, at least these cases regarding the dc's, the media doesn't want to go after a large contributor to the local economy.. but, what about this case, the lawsuit against quotes?

1914, The Time of The End, is really what marks witnesses sociologically different. They are special because they live like the end is near, not planning careers, watching their morality especially keenly, not gathering things. Of course this is hypocritical because it is only a very small minority of witnesses that follow this path.
since they are claiming it is the end, they can read all the very things paul and John wrote about the end and mean it, unlike many other so called christian religions..... however they should have realized by now, that Paul and John were wrong back then and the whole myth is a sham.... but apparently no other christians realized this either so they can be forgiven on that score too (^_^)

dont need it.....
when I discovered that reality is perfect until you compare it to something its not, I realized that paradise was not lost physically
but mentally....
as soon as humans decided somethings were good and somethings were bad, they drew an imaginary line right across reality which had no basis other than individual opinion and gross igorance of how reality does work compared to how we wish it worked.
so the way to regain paradise is not to wait for some fantasy being to make earth into a fantasy land, but to reailze that earth is as it must be and always has been.
